There, just check those out for how my game projects are coming along. I do have a third project, but that's hush hush and it isn't Blobby. I'm currently learning PHP 5 and MySQL, to see if they are up to the task I have planned.

Blobby is pretty much dead because of flash's horrible memory useage, after coding several blobs and getting the game moving, my PC was slowing the animations to a crawl. Which, given my PC is an amazing PC that can run Assassin's Creed full blast, with 2 GIGs of RAM and a dual core proccessor, basically kills our "casual gamer" audience. Until I can code a multiplatform vector graphics engine(which isn't likely as my Linux machine's harddrive/graphics/motherboard is all messed up), this game is pretty much left on paper. Bwahhh!!!!!!!!

So, with new resolve, and a new inspiration from 3D GORDO WITH CREEPY EYES, I have been coding a 3d platformer in Dark Basic instead. Or at least, what so far seems to be a 3d platformer. I don't know yet. Maybe he can fly. Maybe he won't even be in the game for fear of shocking everyone with copyright infringement. Maybe he is so awsome I'll just make a him exploring a giant version of him and refuse to model anything else for the game engine.

Or maybe I should really stop focusing on his amazing eyes and actually code the silly thing some more.

Gads, I scare myself sometimes with what I get obsessed with. But it's amazing all the same. I love being me. Well, except for the whole "out of a job and horribly depressed while only able to really get sleep when fully healthy because of contaminating the sleep apnea machine." Yes...that tends to be rather bothersome. But other then that...well, and this, and that, and that other thing.....hmm....bother.

For anyone who has a DS and reads this....GO GET ROCKET SLIME NOW! I was so depressed last night, and turned that game on again for the first time in ages, and like, was totally blown away by it's awsomeness and silliness despite having played it nearly 50 hours according to it's play clock. "Flying Fahitas, I'm all out of HP!", coming from one of those cactus things, just totally made me burst into laughter. Of course, the fact that I TOTALLY DECIMATED ALL 300 OF HIS TANK'S HP IN ONE VOLLY by stealing everything in his tank and carrying it over to my cannon while they wandered around in their tank trying to figure out where their ammo went is funny too. It's all bouncing along the bottom of the map in between the two tanks with the smiley slime pushing them along you silly goons.

But yes, you must play it. I only wish all Dragon Quest games were like this, instead of being so boring with the RPG stuff. It's so much more fun when you look at things like apples and goddess statues, and only think about how much damage they will do and how they will fly through the air, or how far they will be chucked when you toss them off your head.
