DA, please let me turn off Drag and CollectI already turned off "dynamic menu" stuff in my profile. Apparently, this Drag and Drop isn't dynamic according to the settings. I can use the mood window and stuff though in crappy IE8 now, so that setting was still useful, but it did nothing to Drag and Drop.
I'm not dissapointed in the feature at all, I think it's great that we all have a personal, private, little box to store art as we browse DA. I actually did use it a bit myself when it first showed up, and found it to be a handy alternative to opening fifteen windows/tabs for all the artwork I missed. It's great for use as a checklist of artwork I still need to look at, that will still be there when IE8 decides it's going to crash out on me.
I just wish I could either turn it off, or somehow tell DA that I ALREADY KNOW I CAN DRAG AND DROP STUFF SO STOP TELLING ME EVERY STUPID TIME I CAN. I believe the purpose of this site was to view the artwork, not the grey button saying Drag and Collect.
DA's got some great ideas, but they really need to work on the user settings, so we can toggle some of the behaviors on or off.
